reverseracist I’m white and i tell my white friends they’re well spoken. I have had African Americans, Asian ethnicities, Hispanic, Colombian, etc. comment on my ability to speak well. I see your point but by grouping all “white” people together you’re arguing all white people are condescending. Last time I checked, I check my privilege daily and realize the good and bad in this world. I’m just a little irritated that people are putting blame and generalized perceptions toward race as a whole rather than separate incidents or individual persons. And yes, I understand your argument. The point has not flown over my head. It’s just too easy and quick to judge a whole race by a heightened awareness of current social unrest in today’s era.
